One of our all-time favorite illustration projects, this collaboration with True North Agency was a vibrant celebration of individuality. Tasked with creating a concept for Old Mutual Insure’s Broker Roadshow, we developed “Portraits of Success”: a theme that centered around the idea that each person is a living work of art, crafting their own masterpiece every day. This concept came to life through bold, expressive illustrations that lit up the event with color, character, and creativity all in the Old Mutual Insure Corporate Colour Palette. A joyful reminder that success isn’t one-size-fits-all—it’s deeply personal, and always worth celebrating.
pop bottles
Rusco Experiential brought us on board to craft the visual identity for their iconic Pop Bottles event and we went all out. Leaning into the bold, bright, and maximalist design trends of the year, we created a vibrant visual style that exploded with energy and personality. The creative was rolled out across TV, social media, and the live event, bringing the Pop Bottles experience to life in full colour.

When Chris & Chantelle were tying the knot, they asked Baah Studio to help tie a creative bow around every detail of their big day. We started with a custom wedding monogram that set the tone for their unique celebration, then brought it to life across every touchpoint, from a digital invitation and wedding website to beautifully designed menus, welcome signs, and seating plans etc. One of our favourite details? A mini pizza box filled with a pizza cookie that doubled as a table finder. Playful, personal, and unforgettable. It was a day full of love and laughter.
mvp awards
In collaboration with True North Agency, Baah Studio helped bring a touch of the MET Gala to life for Old Mutual Insure’s prestigious MVP Awards. The concept celebrated luxury and achievement, wrapped in a striking black and gold palette. We designed a MET Gala-inspired event identity, with a bespoke logo and creative direction that tied every element together as the event’s golden thread. Baah Studio assisted with the pitch and proposal design, and then brought the full creative to life, developing and implementing all key visual assets in line with the event experience. And handing the logo design over to a 3D animator to animate and bring to life on screen visuals.

Working with the client’s supplied creative direction, we crafted a cohesive suite of elegant stationery elements tailored to the occasion, from formal menus to event signage, ensuring every detail felt considered, seamless, and elevated.

Baah Studio has had the pleasure of collaborating with Rusco Experiential over several years to design premium lounge spaces for their clients at the iconic DStv Delicious Festival.Each year, we develop a fresh look and feel tailored to the lounge’s unique vibe and brand presence. The creative is then rolled out across a range of touchpoints, from invitations and tickets to furniture designs, photo walls, and event collateral. Ensuring a cohesive and high-end guest experience.

Blue Moon Communications approached Baah Studio to create custom Pop Art-style portraits for the Momentum Lesedi Awards. Using the client’s inspiration reference as a guide, we reimagined the award winners in a bold, graphic style, anchored in the Momentum brand’s colour palette for a cohesive look. While the illustrations weren’t ultimately used, it was an exciting creative challenge and a great opportunity to flex our illustration muscles in a vibrant, playful direction.

Relax My Baby is a baby massage brand that approached Baah Studio to help bring their nurturing vision to life.They wanted a brand that felt soft, approachable, and instantly reassuring to new moms. We crafted a calming visual identity. Including a logo design, a soothing colour palette, and mockups showing how the brand could be expressed across product packaging and communication touchpoints. A thoughtful brand for a beautiful, nurturing offering.

True North Agency brought Baah Studio on board to design the event stationery for the prestigious 2024 Miway Leaderdship conference. Baah Studio assisted with the initial pitch proposal and then with the actual event once it was awarded to True North Agency. Working with the client’s supplied creative direction, we crafted the various stationery elements the event required including some quirky elements to go with the event theme.

Collaborating with Amari Lush, a distinguished South African Méthode Cap Classique producer, Baah Studios has had the honour of assisting them with some designs for use on their Social Media page, aswell as event menus and Trade Presenters.
Through these design efforts, we've aimed to encapsulate the essence of Amari Lush celebrating strength, elegance, and the art of fine winemaking.

As part of an inspiring Mandela Day initiative powered by Nedbank in association with Over The Rainbow, Baah Studios had the honour of partnering with a small business, IGS Tutoring. At the time, IGS had no formal logo or visual identity. We stepped in to help define and design a brand that truly reflects their mission and passion for education. From concept to execution, we developed a professional, approachable brand identity that will support their growth and credibility in the tutoring space. It was a privilege to contribute our skills to such a meaningful initiative, and we’re proud to have played a small part in helping another business shine.
